All fowl in wild conditions are susceptible to parasite infestation. We started trials on pheasants back in 2006 when a Game Keeper requested a natural method for parasite control. We developed a liquid application that is easily added to small drinkers as well as large header tanks. The natural Verm-X solution has become recognized as a respected method both for addressing parasite infestation and for showing vast improvements in the general health of game birds of all ages. Additionally, when added to a single water source where birds have a choice, the birds have preferred the drinking water containing the Verm-X Game Bird formulation. Steve Toft, Head Game Keeper at the Tregothnan Estate in Cornwall, started using Verm-X for his young birds. He said: “Our birds suffered from the very wet weather this summer and they did not look as well as I wanted. I heard that Verm-X was a very good general health product for Game Birds as well as controlling internal intestinal parasites. I added the Verm-X liquid to the drinking water in two pens for six days. Within ten days we could see a dramatic difference in the birds. They were looking better and a lot healthier. We could also see that they preferred the drinking water containing the Verm-X as opposed to other sources of water which meant they were attracted to stay near the pens. Being completely natural, Verm-X also fits with our farming protocols.”
How do I feed Verm-X for Game Birds? Add Verm-X to the birds’ drinking water for 6 consecutive days. Repeat monthly as necessary. Add 100ml per 20 liters of drinking water (this equates to 5 liters per 1000 liters water butts).
