Verm-X - Leading Animal Healthcare for Parasite Control
We are the only company in the world who solely focus on natural parasite control in animals. It is our specialist subject and all our research funding is aimed at producing an increased number of effective Verm-X products for an increased amount of animal species.You, our valued clients, keep us driven to remove the need to use chemicals where they may not be necessary and this we do in the area of internal parasite control. Verm-X was initially launched for horses back in 2002. Verm-X for horses was formed due to our love of them and our increasing concerns of the amount of chemicals being used in day to day animal healthcare and the ever increasing negative publicity chemical formulations seem to be receiving. Verm-X formulations have been created by consulting with some of the most respected medical herbalists in the world. With their assistance and expertise we now have successful Verm-X formulations for Poultry, Dogs, Cats as well as our Horse formulations. Late in 2006 saw the launch of our new Verm-X Pellets for Poultry and a larger pellet for Sheep, Goat and Alpacas. Verm-X Nuggets for Rabbits, Guinea Pigs and Hamsters was launched in June 2007 since then the Verm-X range has grown and we have recently seen the launch of pellets for Cows. For 2008 we have three new formulations, Verm-X for Racing Pigeons, a liquid for Game Birds and a small pellet for domestic Caged Birds. In 2004, 2006, 2007and again in 2008 the British Government supported Green Apple Awards, recognizing world wide associations for Environmental Best Practice, awarded Verm-X for their success in bringing and effective natural product into a traditionally chemical and man-made market. We proudly received our awards at ceremonies at the House of Lords.
Award Winning Formulation
We are extremely proud to be recognized four times in five years (2004, 2006, 2007 and again in 2008) by the Green Apple Organization and to win an award in its Farming and Agricultural sector.The Green Apple Environment Awards was set up 10 years ago to recognize companies and products that adopt an eco-friendly approach to their business and 'set environmental standards for others to follow'. Verm-X joins international winners such as Jaguar, Toyota, County Councils and global industries.The awards have been presented by key figures in Parliament and those who represent the fight for sustainable development such as the Rt. Hon. Patricia Hewitt MP and Mr. David Bellamy. Owner of Verm-X Philip Ghazala says:'It is a great honor to be recognized in this way by the British Government and it underlines what we stand for and proves to all animal and pet owners that Verm-X has a serious place in the management of animal welfare'. In October 2008 Verm-X also became owners of the Somerset Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year.
